How do I buy your products?

Our entire product catalog is available on sidetrackproducts.com. Several Boston area retailers carry select items from our collection. To purchase online, mouse over and click the item you wish to purchase. Select the Size and Quantity and click 'ADD TO CART' to add to your Shopping Cart. Click the Shopping Cart icon to review your order and click 'CHECKOUT' to pay with a credit card or click the Paypal box to check out with Paypal. Note: you can still use your credit card and do not need a Paypal account when checking out with Paypal. 

I am buying as a gift. What size should I buy? 

See our Size Guide page for recommended sizes of Infant, Toddler, Youth, Adult Unisex and Ladies.

How do I add a gift note?

On the Shopping Cart add your message "Special Instructions for the Seller" section. We will add your note to the package. Prices are not listed on the Packing Slip.

How soon will my order ship?

Orders will usually ship within two business days. Please note that orders placed during a sale or promotion may take longer to process. If you do not receive your order within 7 business days, please feel free to contact Customer Support at info@sidetrackproducts.com.

What is your Returns & Refunds policy?

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for full exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt. Exchanged and returned items must be as you received them (original condition: unworn and clean). No credits will be issued for items that have been worn or washed. 

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the reason for return is the result of our error. If merchandise is being exchanged, ground shipping (to the contiguous 48 states) will be provided at our expense for the new product to be shipped back to you.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs that are associated with items being sent back.

How do I become a Reseller?

If you wish to re-sell our merchandise, please contact info@sidetrackproducts.com with the word 'RESELLER' in the Subject line. You will need to provide a Federal Tax ID Number.

Can I order your products for our Boston event or convention? 

Yes, please! Send us an email at info@sidetrackproducts.com with your inquiry and we will reply within two business days. We stock several unique gift items to satisfy your Boston gift bad needs. And if we don't have your required quantity on hand, give us a 6-8 weeks notice to fulfill your requirements.

Is the Die Cast Trolley Car compatible with Tomy wooden or plastic tracks?

No. The Trolley Car has moveable wheels similar to those of Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars and will not fit on Tomy or comparable tracks.

Is Sidetrack Products affiliated with the MBTA?

We are an independent small business. We pay the MBTA a licensing fee to use their name and their logo within our product designs. 

Where can I buy your products?

We do not have a brick and mortar location but at sidetrackproducts.com you will find our entire collection of Boston/MBTA gifts. Much of our assortment is carried by mbtagifts.com/WardMaps in Cambridge. Local gift shops such as Davis Squared in Somerville, Brookline Booksmith, State House Gift Shop, Museum of Science Gift Shop, MFA Gift Shop will have our most popular gifts and Boston souvenirs.
